About Us

Formed in 1977, the club has a healthy membership number.  As a member of the British Sub Aqua Club, our fees are quite reasonable, club subscriptions, pool fees, kit hire.

 We meet every Wednesday at Buxton Swimming Pool, arrive around 7:30pm for a warm and friendly welcome.  Find out about our free Try Dives.  Talk about your requirements, need to be ready for that big holiday in warm waters; update your qualification; or, just fancy a go.  All we ask is that you are 14 or over, physically fit, and are able to swim 50m.

Pool sessions start at 8:00pm, last just under the hour, then join us in the local hostelry. 

Club dives are organised on a once a month basis.  We go to Capernwray, The Rez, Stoney Cove; mainly for training purposes.  

Longer trips are also run to The Nefyn Peninsula in N Wales, St Abbs in Scotland, Poole in Dorset.  Easter 2007, visited Egypt.

We also organise visits to a hyperbaric chamber.
We have our own RIB, The Typanic.
