Formed in 1977, the clubs aim is to support its members in the enjoyment of the various aspects of diving. Buxton Sub Aqua Club is a branch of the British sub aqua club and uses tried and tested training methods. Like other clubs its run by an elected committee and its members. It is non profit making and is funded by reasonable club subscriptions, pool fees and kit hire.

We meet every Wednesday at Buxton Swimming Pool, arrive around 7:30pm for a warm and friendly welcome. Being operational for some 30+ years it is rich with lively characters, experienced instructors, boat and equipment. Talk about your requirements, need to be ready for that big holiday in warm waters; update your qualification; or just fancy a go. All we ask is that you are 12 or over, physically fit, and are able to swim 50m.

Pool sessions start at 8:00pm, last just under the hour, then join us in the local hostelry.
